I also love fantasy novels. Do you adore Sarah J. Maas? Me too. I also love Kristin Hannah! Talk about slice of life stories! Did you read The Women? I cried, I did, it was so incredibly heartfelt and moving. She nails it, every time. Those are the two most modern and recent women whose books I've admired.
