Questioning genres and introducing Tazs Rowan as a romance author.

The slice of life genre puzzles me. I like the idea of it but is it romance? Is it women's literature? Both? I'm just starting out with writing serial stories on Wattpad. The story I've written is a slice of life and it has some steamy sex scenes in it. It delves into dysfunction and gaslighting though, so does that make it dark? That's the question. I wonder.
